Summer has arrived early, and the sun shines brightly on The White Lady.

The long days and beautiful Scandinavian summer evenings include exciting things to see and do. We have gathered a few recommendations for the coming season and wish all of you a lovely summer.

H.R.H. CROWN PRINCE FREDERIK AT 50
As a long tradition dictates, H.R.H. Crown Prince Frederik was given a beautiful flower bouquet when passing the d’Angleterre this Saturday in connection with his official birthday celebration at Christiansborg Palace. The flower bouquet was created by our Creative Director, Alan Evensen, on this very special occasion and consisted solely of Danish summer flowers. To honor his French heritage and his late father Prince Henrik, a crown with French lilies was integrated in the bouquet covered with blue forget-me-nots.

When a monarch passes by d’Angleterre in an official matter, it is the age-old, local tradition for the monarch to receive flowers. The tradition goes back to King Frederik IX And Queen Ingrid’s silver weeding in 1960.

In cooperation with KRUG Champagne, d’Angleterre has reinterpreted the classic English Afternoon Tea, served in our beautiful Gallery Hall with high ceilings and imposing chandeliers. Untraditional specialties are featured by our Michelin restaurant Marchal, and specially composed tea is served to complement the taste of Champagne.
