EASTER ESCAPE
The long-awaited spring is just around the corner and what better way to enjoy it and the Easter holiday than with a stay at d’Angleterre?
 
Our Easter Escape package includes a two-nights stay for you and your loved one. Start with an Easter surprise in your room on arrival and treat yourself to our lavish breakfast buffet each morning in Marchal before heading out to explore the lovely Tivoli Garden. THE TERRACE IS OPENING
Marchal will once again open its wonderful Kongens Nytorv-facing terrace on the first of May. The terrace is open daily from noon and welcomes both in-house guests and visitors. Marchal is ready to greet you whether you are just stopping by for a glass of wine or a five-course dinner. The terrace is the perfect location to enjoy the spring and a glimpse into Copenhagen life. 
 
Throughout the day, our patio heaters will support the budding spring weather, and when night falls we will light lanterns for guests to continue enjoying the evening outside.

ASPARAGUS SEASON AT MARCHAL
The upcoming spring season means a most welcome reunion with many of the delicious ingredients we have been missing during the autumn and winter season.
One of the signs that spring is returning is when asparagus is back on the menu card in Danish restaurants.
The long-awaited sesaon has finally arrived in Copenhagen, and we could not be more excited. 
 
Therefore, we have added a lovely spring-inspired dish faeturing grilled green asparagus, sole, peas and pistachio, servied with mint and ramson buerre blanc.

CHEFS SOCIAL HOURS
We proudly present the 11th edition of this special
event by inviting the amazing chef from Michelin-starred Kong Hans Kælder restaurant, Thomas Rode, to host the evening  with our own Andreas Bagh, head chef at Marchal.
The event takes place  tomorrow, March 28, at 5.30pm, and at 6pm the two chefs will start serving delicious snacks that pair perfectly with a nice, cold glass of Champagne.
During the event, our wonderful DJ Palma will spread
lovely rhythms through the speakers.

If you come early, you might be able to get a seat
at the bar.

Easter at Frederiksborg Castle
On Easter, Frederiksborg Castle invites children to play dress up with beautiful garments and learn to write with real ink, while adults can enjoy the wonderful exhibition of Easter decorations. 
Cherry blossoms  
The cherry trees blossom at the end of April and create
a beautiful pink ceiling over the wonderful Bispebjerg cemetery. For Copenhageners, a stroll through Bispebjerg during the cherry-tree-bloom is a beloved spring tradition.
Easter in Tivoli Gardens
Easter in Tivoli Gardens is celebrated with beautiful spring flowers, fuzzy Easter lambs and family activities. 
In the garden, you can also enjoy illumination shows on Tivoli Lake, Easter stalls and parades with the Tivoli Youth Guard.
